The Venue

Dark Reverberations Festival will be held at Stereo, 54 Gillygate, York, YO31 7EQ. This small venue is something of a champion of the alternative and independent music scenes with many of their live music events and regular club nights covering the indie, metal, goth and general alternative genres.

The venue has a comfortable, relaxed front bar area and the main room and stage is at the back. The bar serves a good selection of drinks, including real ale.

We regret that food may not be consumed in the venue. This is unfortunately a condition of their license. Therefore a break in the proceedings has been scheduled to allow people to go out for food. There are several restaurants and take-aways in close proximity to the venue.

Directions

Stereo is situated just outside the city walls, on the north side of the city centre. From the west end of the Minster, walk along High Petergate and out through Bootham Bar, turn right onto Gillygate and Stereo is a little over half way down on the right.

For those travelling by car, the Clarence Street long- and short-stay car park is just a couple of minutes walk from the venue.
